Madinah Dates Season 2026 is witnessing notable visitor turnout as a platform bringing together date producers, artisans, and families working in the cottage industry. It highlights the economic and cultural value of palm trees, while supporting local products and introducing visitors to the agricultural and craft heritage for which the region is known. The season's activities include sections for artisans and families working in the cottage industry, allowing visitors to learn about palm-frond crafts and the stages of making handmade products using natural materials. Artisan Madawi Al-Mansour told the Saudi Press Agency that her participation in the season aims to introduce palm-frond crafts and present them in modern ways. She noted that her journey with the craft began with her passion for traditional handicrafts, before she worked to develop it by producing bags, fans, and various products that combine heritage character with modern design. She added that developing her skills through training courses helped her master palm-frond craftsmanship before joining the House of Artisans as a trainer in the field.
