Both parties are in crisis, and matters are beyond their capabilities, whether it is the negotiating team or the armed group. The President of the Republic has failed to secure any concession from the Israeli side in negotiations whose direct sessions have been postponed, while “Hezbollah” has shown no initiative in the face of escalating Israeli aggression, with the occupation of the strategic Ali Tahir Heights remaining a non-negotiable objective. Neither side has anything to offer beyond clinging to patience and awaiting relief.
