Significant step: Lebanon has officially taken a diplomatic move by filing a complaint against Iran to the Security Council, accusing it of violating Lebanese sovereignty. The complaint speaks of Iran’s breach of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, interference in Lebanese sovereign decision making, and dragging the country into a destructive war against the will of the state. According to the information, the official complaint against Iran refutes the false Iranian narrative that claims the individuals from the Quds Force who were assassinated by Israel at the beginning of the support war for Iran in the Ramada Hotel in Beirut were merely diplomats who coordinated their stay at the hotel with the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The truth is that they were not diplomats and did not coordinate their presence in Lebanon with anyone. They were officers belonging to the Quds Force, which is part of the Revolutionary Guard, carrying out security, military, and intelligence activities in Lebanon with Hezbollah, whose security and military activities were banned under a decision issued by the Council of Ministers on 2 March of last year. These activities are in violation of Lebanese regulations and laws.
