Lebanon's foreign ministry on Thursday condemned threats by Yemen's Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia, including threats to maritime navigation through the Bab al-Mandab Strait, describing them as a flagrant violation of international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, the Saudi Press Agency reported. In a statement, the Ministry reaffirmed the importance of respecting freedom of navigation and ensuring the security of international waterways. It also stressed the need for the full implementation of international resolutions, continued support for the legitimate Yemeni government, and the withdrawal of the Houthi militia from the areas under its control, emphasizing that these measures are essential to preserving regional security and stability.
