American tennis player Learner Tien will join the star-studded lineup for the Six Kings Slam, held as part of Riyadh Season, replacing Italy’s Jannik Sinner after an injury ruled him out of the tournament. The 20-year-old Tien is regarded as one of the most promising young American players in tennis. He has made significant progress in the world rankings, reaching a career-high No. 12, while recording notable results against some of the world’s top-ranked players. Tien made a major breakthrough at the 2025 Australian Open, where he defeated Russia’s Daniil Medvedev in a five-set match. He continued his rise with victories over several leading players on the ATP Tour, including Germany’s Alexander Zverev. Tien also faced Sinner in the 2025 Beijing final and continued his development the following season by reaching the quarterfinals of the 2026 Australian Open. Tien will compete in the third edition of the Six Kings Slam, which will take place at The Venue in Riyadh on October 21, 22 and 24, bringing together some of the world’s leading tennis stars in a knockout-format competition. The tournament is part of the lineup of major international sporting events hosted by Riyadh Season in its seventh edition, continuing tennis’ presence on the season’s calendar and bringing some of the sport’s biggest names to the Saudi capital.
