ALBAWABA - Yesterday, rumors emerged on social media claiming that the president of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, has passed away after suffering a severe cerebral haemorrhage and entering a coma.
Rumors started when multiple people allegedly said that Jong Un fell into a coma and was transferred to China for medical care, and that he died there.
In addition, many netizens claimed that China sent 9,000 troops to Pyongyang to support Kim Ju Ae, the daughter of the North Korean leader, amid succession fears.
A person wrote on X, "Rumors circulate that Kim Jong Un has died, thwarting Kim Ju Ee's succession plans and potentially plunging North Korea into civil war. The Chinese Communist Party has reportedly dispatched 9,000 troops to Pyongyang to assist Kim Ju Ee in stabilizing her regime."

It is worth noting that Kim's latest public appearance was around Oct. 10, when he attended a performance marking the 81st anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea along with his wife, Ri Sol Ju, and daughter, Kim Ju Ee, as reported by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
Additionally, Kim, along with his wife and daughter, also toured the Second Economic Committee National Defense Revolution Museum in Pyongyang on October 13, five days ago, and the president looked in good health.
