Amman: Jordan on Monday condemned the Iranian drone attack targeting the United Arab Emirates, which was intercepted by air defence systems over the UAE's territorial waters.The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs described the attack as a flagrant violation of the UAE's sovereignty and a threat to its security, stability and territorial integrity.The ministry said the attack represented a serious escalation and a blatant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the ministry affirmed Jordan's full solidarity with the UAE and its support for all measures taken to protect its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
