The Jordanian military announced on Tuesday it had intercepted five Iranian drones, the latest attack by Iran on countries in the region following the resumption of the Middle East war. The source said the operation caused no casualties or material damage, according to Jordan’s Petra news agency. The armed forces continue to monitor the country’s airspace, maintain operational readiness and take the necessary measures to deal with any airborne object that poses a threat to the kingdom’s security and the safety of its citizens, added the source. Iran's Revolutionary Guards confirmed the attack, saying in a statement that they had targeted a complex housing US forces in Jordan.
