Iran, Ukraine and Russia: Why Washington is moving to contain a new front

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has considered Iran a party to the war since 2022, following its provision of drones and related technology to Russia, which, according to Kyiv, strengthened Russia's military capabilities. Tehran, on the other hand, has rejected these accusations and warned that any targeting of its interests would have consequences, asserting that it would not accept attacks on its territory or interests without responding.
