Iran Strike Countdown: Israeli sources says at timing as 10 US military planes land in Israel

ALBAWABA — Reports of American military aircraft arriving in Israel and warnings to regional allies have intensified speculation about renewed US strikes on Iran after the November 3 midterm elections. However, no confirmed attack date has been announced.

Israeli public broadcaster KAN reported that at least 10 US military cargo aircraft landed at Ovda and Nevatim air bases, with additional aircraft sent to bases in Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, according to Türkiye Today.

An Israeli official told KAN that both countries were preparing for whatever decision President Donald Trump makes, while stressing that no decision had yet been taken.

The reported deployments come alongside diplomatic warnings about a potential escalation.

Alhurra, citing Associated Press reporting, said American officials had advised regional partners to prepare for possible renewed operations after the US elections—and Iranian retaliation against energy facilities and critical infrastructure. The warnings did not identify a specific day.

Movements primarily from Biggs Army Airfield continue this morning. Three C-17s are en route to/have arrived at Ovda Air Base in Israel, while two more are in-progress - this brings the total to 8 flights over three days.

Other recorded movements this morning aren't particularly noteworthy. It will take a few of these posts to work out the trends again.

US Central Command chief Admiral Brad Cooper also reportedly briefed Trump on military options against Iran. Additional air defenses, ammunition and supplies have been sent to the region, according to reporting cited by Türkiye Today.

Despite the preparations, Trump struck a different tone on Friday, telling Kansas City radio station KCMO that he believed the Iran war would end soon. He offered no detailed timetable and reiterated Washington’s demand for assurances that Tehran would never obtain a nuclear weapon.

For now, the deployments indicate preparation for a possible confrontation. They do not establish that an attack has been ordered or that diplomacy has ended.
