Bengaluru: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's largest IT services company, has agreed to acquire MHP, Porsche's IT and consulting division, in a deal valued at €320 million (US$373 million).The acquisition is accompanied by a five-year strategic agreement under which Porsche has committed €1.25 billion in business to TCS and MHP.Under the partnership, TCS and MHP will support Porsche's efforts to deploy artificial intelligence across key areas including engineering, manufacturing, operations and customer experience. The collaboration will also focus on developing next-generation automotive technologies and software-defined mobility platforms.MHP is an automotive and industrial consulting firm specialising in business consulting, digital transformation and software-defined mobility solutions.The deal strengthens TCS's presence in the global automotive technology sector and expands its capabilities in AI-driven engineering and mobility services.Porsche's long-term commitment is expected to provide a substantial pipeline of digital transformation projects as automakers increasingly invest in connected vehicles, software platforms and AI-enabled operations.The transaction values MHP at an enterprise value of €320 million.
