India’s Adani Group considers launching own airline

NEW DELHI: ​Indian billionaire Gautam Adani's flagship ⁠group is considering launching ‌a new ‌airline, two sources ‌with ‌direct knowledge ‌said, ​a ‌move that ​could potentially ⁠reshape ​competition ⁠in a ⁠market ⁠dominated by IndiGo and Air India.Adani Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate headquartered in Ahmedabad. Established by Gautam Adani in 1988 as a commodity trading company, the Group has since diversified into sectors including ports and airports, power generation and transmission, mining, natural gas, food products, defense and aerospace, and infrastructure development.
