Hezbollah’s Air Defenses Confront Israeli Warplanes, Helicopters and Drones over South Lebanon

The air defense units of the Islamic Resistance confronted aircraft and drones belonging to the “Israeli” enemy army in the skies of southern Lebanon with surface-to-air missiles. In this regard, Hezbollah Military Media issued two statements numbered 1 and 13 to detail the aerial confrontations and their outcomes. Statement 1 In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its breach of Lebanese airspace, the Islamic Resistance fighters confronted at 15:00 and 18:30 yesterday, Thursday 14-05-2026, aircraft and drones belonging to the “Israeli” enemy army in the skies of southern Lebanon with surface-to-air missiles. Statement 13 In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its violation of Lebanese airspace, the Islamic Resistance fighters confronted at 16:15 on Friday 15-05-2026 a helicopter belonging to the “Israeli” enemy army in the skies of Al-Bayyada town in southern Lebanon with a surface-to-air missile, forcing it to withdraw.
