RIYADH — The search and rescue teams from the Border Guard in Al-Khafji governorate in the Eastern Province rescued a Gulf citizen after his boat broke down at sea. The teams provided him with the necessary assistance. The General Directorate of Border Guard urged beachgoers and sea users to comply with maritime safety guidelines and instructions, ensure their vessels are seaworthy before setting sail, and wear life jackets. The directorate also called on those in need of assistance during emergencies to contact 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 994 in other regions of the Kingdom.
