According to recent medical studies and reports issued by international plastic surgery associations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), complications have extended beyond lumps and tissue calcification, reportedly recorded at a rate of one case in every 138 procedures. They have also included rare deaths resulting from anaphylactic shock and severe bacterial infections, such as necrotizing fasciitis, as well as complications associated with anesthesia and accompanying medications, particularly in unlicensed clinics.
