By Mohamed Attia Cairo Airport Company has clarified recent reports circulating on social media regarding the Fast Track service at Cairo International Airport, as well as questions about the nature of the service, who can use it, and the applicable fees. The company explained that Fast Track is a service available at many airports around the world. It is not necessarily limited to first-class or business-class passengers, nor is it a free service at all airports. Some airports offer it as a separate optional service for an additional fee. Cairo International Airport provides the service at Terminals 1, 2, and 3 through the ALLWAYS Fast Track network, which operates in more than 29 countries worldwide. The service allows passengers to use a dedicated fast lane to reduce waiting times and facilitate travel procedures, including passport control, providing an additional option for those who want to save time. The Fast Track service at Cairo Airport costs US$15, or LE850. The company stressed that using Fast Track is completely optional. Passengers who choose not to use the service will not be affected in any way and can continue to use the regular lanes and procedures available to all passengers at no additional cost. The company also noted that several airlines currently contracted to provide the service offer to their first-class and business-class passengers as part of their benefits. Customers of some international banks and travel companies can also use the service under the agreements, programmes, and benefits offered by each organisation. At the same time, the service is not limited to these groups. Any passenger who wishes to reduce waiting times can use it individually by paying the applicable fee. The company said the service may be particularly suitable for some passengers who prefer to complete airport procedures more quickly, including families travelling with children, elderly passengers, and others who may prefer to use the fast lane. Cairo Airport Company emphasised that Fast Track is not a replacement for the regular procedures. It is an additional, optional paid service that allows passengers who choose to use it to access a faster lane for a set fee, while the regular lanes and procedures remain available to all passengers at no additional cost.
