RIYADH — The Ministry of Interior warned that expatriates engaged in self-employment shall face penalties such as fines of up to SR50,000, imprisonment for up to six months, and deportation. The ministry urged expatriates to comply with residency, labor, and border security regulations. It urged to report violations by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.
