Etihad extends Riyadh, Dammam flight cancellations until November 19

Etihad Airways has extended the cancellation of all passenger and cargo flights between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia until November 19 due to ongoing regional disruptions affecting air traffic. Meanwhile, the airline is preparing to resume some flights between Abu Dhabi and Jeddah from November 6.

In an update published on its website, the carrier said the extension applies to all flights in both directions between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, as well as Abu Dhabi and Dammam, including both passenger and cargo services. The cancellations will remain in effect until Thursday, November 19, 2026.

Etihad Airways also announced plans to resume four flights between Abu Dhabi and Jeddah from Friday, November 6. These are flights EY601 and EY603 from Abu Dhabi to Jeddah, and flights EY602 and EY604 from Jeddah to Abu Dhabi.

The airline confirmed that its remaining flights between Abu Dhabi and Jeddah will continue to operate according to schedule, maintaining service to the Saudi city despite the suspension of operations to Riyadh and Dammam.

Etihad Airways urged passengers affected by the cancellations to contact the airline regarding rebooking or refund options and to check their flight status on its official website before travelling to the airport. The airline noted that operational conditions remain subject to change and may require further schedule adjustments in the coming period.

Etihad said its teams continue to support affected passengers and assist them with alternative travel arrangements, stressing that the safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew remain its top priority.
