Dubai, UAE: Emirates has become the first airline in the world to introduce a comprehensive travel cover product that includes protection for conflict-related incidents, marking a new benchmark in airline-supported travel insurance.The new offering provides extensive coverage for passengers, including medical expenses related to conflict situations, along with support services such as airline-managed hotel accommodation and extended-stay assistance during disruptions.Enhanced protection for travellersThe comprehensive cover includes trip cancellation protection, compensation for baggage delays or loss, and unlimited medical expenses with emergency evacuation worldwide.A newly introduced feature offers conflict-related medical expense coverage of up to $25,000, along with a complimentary trip extension of up to 30 days. The policy applies regardless of government travel advisories.Support during disruptionsIn addition to insurance benefits, Emirates will provide operational support during travel disruptions.
