Dubai: The Emirates Drug Authority has announced the withdrawal of an affected batch of “Babies’ Magic Tea brand Baby Sleep Gripe Water”, also known as Children’s Sleep Gripe Water, after undisclosed alcoholic substances were found in the product.
The product, which is marketed to relieve colic and gas and help with sleep, also does not have valid marketing approval in the country.
The authority issued Administrative Circular No. 45 of 2026 regarding the withdrawal of the affected batch.
It called on all health facilities and healthcare practitioners to comply with the circular and take the necessary measures regarding the affected batch in accordance with the instructions issued.
