Egypt’s Nora Essam wins 3 silvers at African Weightlifting Championships

Egyptian weightlifter Nora Essam secured three silver medals at the African Senior Weightlifting Championships held in Ismailia. Nora claimed silver in the snatch with a lift of 87 kg, silver in the clean and jerk at 108 kg, and silver in the total with 195 kg in the under-58 kg category. Egypt is hosting the African Senior Championships and the Mediterranean Weightlifting Championships from May 10 to 16, with the participation of 27 African and Mediterranean countries, in a major sporting event highlighting Egypt’s ability to organize top-tier continental and international competitions at a high technical and organizational level.
