EgyptAir Ground Services checks Alamein readiness ahead of airshow

By Mohamed Attia Chairman and Executive Managing Director of EgyptAir Ground Services Company, Khaled Atwa, conducted an inspection visit to the company’s Alamein station, accompanied by General Manager of Domestic Stations Ashraf Fathy, and Dr. Nadera Samir Ibrahim. They were received by Major General Mohamed el-Husseiny, Director of Alamein International Airport; Eng. Fady Ghanem, Manager of Alexandria Station; and Ibrahim Taher, Supervisor of Alamein Station. During the visit, Atwa inspected the company’s various sites in the airport’s apron area and reviewed the readiness of work teams. He also checked the condition and efficiency of the equipment and ensured that all operational requirements were in place to maintain service levels in line with international standards. The visit also focused on preparations for the International Airshow, scheduled to take place from September 8 to 10, 2026. The tour included the departure and arrival baggage belt areas, as well as a review of the station’s preparations to handle the expected increase in operations during the event, reflecting the company’s focus on providing efficient ground handling services.
