By Mohamed Attia EgyptAir Cargo concluded its participation in the Egypt International Airshow and Space 2026 by securing new commercial agreements and operational arrangements that support its strategy to expand its global presence, strengthen its business network and increase cargo volumes. During the event, EgyptAir Cargo Chairman Ehab El-Tahtawy, accompanied by Head of the Economic Sector Mohamed Zaki, held a series of intensive meetings with leading freight forwarders and authorised sales agents from key international markets. The meetings resulted in the signing and renewal of several cargo and sales agency agreements covering strategic markets, including Türkiye, Germany, the Benelux region, Jordan and Hong Kong.El-Tahtawy also met with major international freight forwarders to discuss cooperation and increasing business volumes. The meetings produced operational agreements to support cargo flights during the upcoming winter schedule, particularly to New York, São Paulo, Kuwait, Asmara, Juba and Johannesburg. As part of its expansion plans, EgyptAir Cargo is studying long-haul charter flights from Hong Kong to Mumbai, as well as new services to Sydney and Algeria. The company will also launch services to Cardiff, UK, with the start of the winter season, creating a new destination for Egyptian vegetables, fruits and other products and supporting access to European markets. The moves are part of EgyptAir Cargo’s strategy to expand its global network, strengthen international partnerships and support Egyptian trade and exports.
