By Mohamed Attia The Forbes Middle East list of the Top 100 Leaders in the Travel and Tourism Industry for 2026 included the Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir, Ahmed Adel, and the Chairman and CEO of Air Cairo, Hussein Sherif, highlighting the role of Egyptian aviation leaders in driving growth and development in the region’s air transport and tourism sectors. The recognition comes amid Egypt’s notable presence in the regional ranking. Egypt ranked third in the Middle East, with eight business and executive leaders included on the list, behind the UAE, which topped the ranking with 56 leaders, and Saudi Arabia, which ranked second with 18 leaders.
