Egypt reaffirms solidarity with UAE following recent Iranian attacks

Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdel-Aati, held a phone call on Tuesday evening, with his UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which both sides praised the strong ties between the two countries. The call reflected the close coordination between the leaderships of both nations, following recent communication between President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Discussions focused on the rapidly evolving regional developments, particularly in light of the recent Iranian attacks against the UAE. Minister Abdel-Aati reiterated Egypt’s strong condemnation of these attacks, reaffirming Cairo’s full solidarity with the UAE. He stressed Egypt’s full support for all measures taken by the UAE to safeguard its security and stability. Abdel-Aati underscored Cairo’s firm position that the security of the UAE and all Gulf states is an integral part of Egypt’s national security. He emphasised the close and inseparable link between the stability and security of both countries and the wider region.
