Egyptian and Pakistani special forces have concluded the joint military exercise “Raad–2,” held over several days at special forces training grounds in Pakistan. The drill brought together units from Egypt’s paratroopers and Pakistan’s special forces as part of ongoing joint training programs between the two countries aimed at strengthening military cooperation and enhancing combat readiness. Throughout the exercise, participating troops carried out a series of theoretical and practical training activities designed to unify operational concepts, exchange expertise, and improve their ability to operate jointly under different circumstances . The training also focused on boosting the combat capabilities of participating forces through realistic scenarios. The final phase featured joint field exercises in counterterrorism operations and confronting non-conventional threats. These drills demonstrated a high level of coordination and operational efficiency between the two sides, highlighting their ability to execute complex missions with precision. The main phase of the exercise was attended by Major General Mohamed Saad and Major General Ahmed Jawad. “Raad–2” comes within broader efforts by the Egyptian Armed Forces to expand joint training with allied and partner nations, supporting knowledge exchange and strengthening preparedness for evolving security challenges.
