Dubai RTA urges motorists to give way to buses re-entering traffic

Dubai: Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has reminded motorists to pay attention to red roadside arrows installed near some bus stops, explaining that the signs are designed to alert drivers to buses rejoining traffic after leaving a stop.In a message posted on its official social media channels, the RTA said the red arrow serves as a traffic sign that helps drivers remain aware of buses merging back into the main lane. The authority urged motorists to help give way when required and keep the lane clear for buses leaving bus stops. The awareness message forms part of the RTA's efforts to promote road safety and improve traffic flow across Dubai's transport network. The authority also stressed that driver awareness and cooperation contribute to smoother mobility and support the efficient movement of public transport services throughout the emirate.
