Deputy emir of Makkah says Saudi Arabia will continue enhancing Hajj services
ARAFAT — Deputy Emir of Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Hajj and Umrah Committee Prince Saud bin Mishaal said Saudi Arabia will continue developing the Hajj system and improving services provided to pilgrims as part of its enduring mission to serve Islam and Muslims.Speaking in Arafat on Thursday, Prince Saud welcomed pilgrims on behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.He said the Day of Arafah reflects the highest meanings of unity and equality as pilgrims perform the most important pillar of Hajj in an atmosphere of security, tranquility and peace.Prince Saud stressed that Saudi Arabia has mobilized all its resources and capabilities to implement development projects, upgrade infrastructure and deploy modern technologies and national expertise to facilitate pilgrims’ journeys and enable them to perform rituals smoothly and comfortably.“The Kingdom will continue working to develop the Hajj system and enhance services provided to pilgrims,” he said, emphasizing that serving pilgrims remains a deeply rooted responsibility carried across generations under the care of the Saudi leadership.The deputy emir also praised pilgrims for their cooperation and commitment to regulations and instructions, calling on them to maintain awareness and discipline to help ensure the smooth delivery of services throughout the pilgrimage season.He commended workers across all sectors participating in Hajj operations, saying their efforts reflect the noble values and humanitarian principles upheld by the Saudi people and embody the honor of serving the Guests of Allah.Prince Saud concluded by praying for the acceptance of pilgrims’ Hajj and safe return to their home countries, while asking God to preserve Saudi Arabia’s security, stability and prosperity.
