Crown Prince, Japan PM discuss regional tensions, maritime supply concerns

JEDDAH — Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call on Thursday from Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, during which they discussed maritime supply concerns and efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region. During the call, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister discussedthe latest developments in the region, along with their security and economic repercussions at both the regional and international levels. The two leaders further discussed the efforts to reduce escalations, enhance the region’s security and stability, and ensure maritime navigation security, and their impact on the economy and vital global supplies. In addition, bilateral relations, existing areas of cooperation, and methods to enhance and develop them in several fields were reviewed.
