RIYADH — Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Malki, spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, said that the terrorist Houthi militia is persisting in its heinous attacks against Saudi Arabia’s national assets and infrastructure. “The continuation of these attacks demonstrates the terrorist Houthi militia's approach and extremist ideology regarding escalation and the targeting of civilians within the Kingdom. The militia launched on Wednesday attacks against the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Jazan using ballistic missiles and drones,” he said.Maj. Gen. Al-Malki affirmed that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will respond to these attacks responsibly to protect the Kingdom's sovereignty and national assets, as well as to safeguard civilians and civilian assets from these heinous acts. This response will be conducted in accordance with the principle of self-defense pursuant to international law and Article 51 of the UN Charter and in compliance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
