Closing Bell: Saudi Arabia’s TASI slips 0.19% to close at 11,015

Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index slipped 0.19 percent on Wednesday to close at 11,015.72, as 90 stocks advanced and 160 declined. The Kingdom’s parallel market Nomu fell 0.22 percent, while the MSCI Tadawul 30 Index declined 0.23 percent. Armah Sports led the gainers, rising 9.99 percent, while Al-Etihad Cooperative Insurance was the biggest decliner, falling 7.28 percent. Among corporate disclosures, Qassim Cement agreed to acquire 100 percent of ready-mix concrete producer A-Mix for SR65 million ($17.3 million), while Qomel renewed SR55.625 million in Shariah-compliant banking facilities with Saudi National Bank. Amana Cooperative Insurance appointed Audi Capital as financial adviser for its planned capital reduction.
