JAZAN — The General Directorate of Civil Defense announced on Sunday that the danger in Jazan Region had passed, following an earlier alert issued through the National Early Warning Platform.The Civil Defense called on citizens and residents to continue following official instructions and safety guidelines, while avoiding gatherings and filming at incident sites.It urged the public to call 998 in case of an emergency.Earlier Sunday, the Civil Defense issued an alert through the National Early Warning Platform in Jazan Region warning residents of a potential danger.The directorate said anyone receiving an emergency warning through the platform should immediately follow official instructions, move to the nearest safe location and remain there until an all-clear is announced.During an emergency, residents should not leave their homes or buildings and should stay away from open areas, rooftops and windows. They were also advised to avoid gathering or filming in potentially dangerous locations.Motorists receiving an alert while driving were instructed to stop in a safe location away from bridges and high-rise buildings and continue monitoring instructions issued through official channels.
