CIB launches first Executive Master’s programme in Banking, Credit with AUC

The Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the American University in Cairo (AUC) to launch the first Executive Master’s programme in Banking and Credit, in collaboration with the university’s Onsi Sawiris School of Business. The partnership aims to develop and qualify banking leaders. The MoU seeks to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions and enhance the capabilities of banking professionals and leaders by leveraging the latest executive education tools and curricula. The programme will help participants develop their leadership, managerial and professional skills in line with the latest international standards and best practices. The programme is the first of its kind in Egypt to be offered by a leading banking institution in direct collaboration with a prestigious international academic institution. The partnership builds on CIB’s success in launching leading programmes to develop and qualify specialists in credit, reaffirming the bank’s commitment to investing in human capital as a key pillar of its leadership in the Egyptian and regional banking sectors. It also reflects AUC’s active and sustained role in bridging the gap between banking institutions and advanced executive education, enabling the exchange of knowledge and expertise and the adoption of international best practices. The signing ceremony was attended by Hisham Ezz El Arab, CEO and Board Member of CIB, and Ahmed Dallal, President of AUC, alongside a number of senior executives and officials from both institutions, including Islam Zekry, Group CFO and Board Member; Mohamed El-Sennary, Head of Human Resources; Ehab Abdel Rahman, Provost; Sherif Kamel, Dean of the Onsi Sawiris School of Business; and Samer Attallah, Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at the Onsi Sawiris School of Business.
