CAPMAS: 4.6% increase in Egyptian exports to France

The Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics (CAPMAS) announced that Egypt’s exports to France increased to $1.14 billion in 2025, compared to $1.09 billion in 2024, marking a 4.6 per cent rise. Meanwhile, Egyptian imports from France recorded $1.82 billion in 2025, down from $1.85 billion in 2024, a 1.6 per cent decrease. This came in a press release issued by CAPMAS detailing economic relations between Egypt and France, coinciding with the reception of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for French President Emmanuel Macron. The visit took place within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and attending the inauguration of the new headquarters of Senghor University. According to CAPMAS data, total trade exchange between the two countries reached $2.96 billion in 2025, up from $2.94 billion in 2024, reflecting a one per cent increase.
