Salman Ramadhan’s side tore into Kuwait from the start, racing 35-8 clear by the end of the first quarter. The match was all but over by half-time, with Bahrain 59-20 ahead. There was no let-up after the break. Bahrain pushed the score to 85-37 by the end of the third quarter before closing out a 55-point win. Somto Patrick Onoduenyi led the scoring with 18 points and pulled down 15 rebounds in only 20 minutes. He also had four assists, two steals and two blocks. Hassan Abdulkadir scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Mahdi Habib added 13 points, six rebounds and seven assists. Yousif Meshaal and Ali Khalil each scored 10 points. Khalil also took 11 rebounds, giving him a double-double. The win came a day after Bahrain beat Saudi Arabia 62-54 and keeps them unbeaten after two matches.
