Bahrain announced on Tuesday that it was indefinitely barring its citizens from traveling to Iraq and Iran due to the security tensions in the region and the fallout from the Iranian attacks on the country. Bahrain’s Interior Ministry said the decision stems form the authorities’ "keenness on the safety of the nation and citizens and given the security developments in the region". The decision was effective starting Tuesday until further notice, it stressed, urging people "to abide by it for their safety".
