NEW YORK — A consultative meeting of the foreign ministers of the Arab League member states reviewed developments in joint Arab action. The meeting, held in New York on Monday, discussed ways to further develop and strengthen its mechanisms in line with the aspirations of member states and their peoples. The meeting also addressed several issues of mutual interest. The Arab League secretary general, along with foreign ministers and representatives of member states attended the meeting held on the sidelines of the High-level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. On behalf of Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Economic and Development Affairs at the ministry Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi attended the meeting.
