Arab and Muslim Leaders Congratulate Saudi Arabia on Success of Hajj Season
Several Arab and Muslim leaders extended congratulations to Saudi Arabia on the success of the 1447 AH Hajj season. Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday. Deputy Emir of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani also sent congratulatory cables to the Saudi leadership on the success of the Hajj season. Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated the Saudi leadership on this great success, attributing it to Allah Almighty and the generous care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the Saudi government. Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq expressed his appreciation for the great efforts exerted by the Kingdom's government to serve pilgrims, praising the tangible development witnessed annually during the Hajj season through the use of the latest technologies and the mobilization of all resources to enable pilgrims to perform the rituals with ease, tranquility, and safety. The Kingdom also received congratulations from Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al Yamahi, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi, and President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas.
