ALBAWABA - UK’s Prime Minister Andy Burnham said in a Radio 4 interview that he is “considering all options” and that Britain could “go all the way” in rejoining the EU.
He further said that he is considering all the options to examine ‘what is doable’ and the ‘pros and cons’ of the matter.
Burnham began by stating in a series of interviews after his Labor conference speech that Brexit had caused “more harm than good,” he indicated that he is open to weighing all the available options regarding London’s relationship with Brussels.

Among the options, Burnham said, is that the UK could keep the current arrangements or seek a customs union or return to the single market or “go all the way” – as in a full EU membership.
“We could stay as we are. That’s definitely an option, if people think this is the right place to stay. We could look at what George Osborne has said about a customs union, we could look at what the Liberal Democrats said at their conference about the single market or we could go all the way,” he said.
If a customs union goes ahead, it would lead to the UK and EU applying the same tariffs to imports from elsewhere, effectively removing trade barriers businesses have faced after Brexit.
If Britain were to rejoin the single market, that brings it even closer to an alignment with EU economic rules and regulations.
“There are clearly options that need to be considered, and we have to look at what is doable and what would be the pros and cons of each,” Burnham said.
