Ajman: The Ajman Municipality and Planning Department announced that public parking will be subject to fees on three streets in the emirate, starting Saturday, November 7, 2026.
These streets include Sheikh Zayed Street, Al Salam Street, and Al Hajin Street.
The initiative is part of its efforts to regulate the public parking system and enhance the efficiency of its use, which will contribute to facilitating traffic flow and improving the quality of life in the emirate.
The department explained, through its digital platforms, that the application of fees will include public parking on Sheikh Zayed Street, Al Salam Street, and Al Hajin Street, starting from the specified date, and published explanatory maps of the areas covered by the decision, to identify the locations of parking spaces subject to fees.
It added that the decision comes within the framework of the department’s efforts to develop the public parking system, regulate its use, enhance traffic flow, and improve the quality of services provided to the public.
