By Mohamed Attia Through the participation of the Egyptian pavilion at the KITF in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Air Cairo played its role in promoting tourism and marketing Egyptian tourist destinations to lure inbound tourism delegations. The company showcased its services to visitors, highlighting its modern aircraft fleet, multiple destinations, and its extensive regional and international network, in addition to competitive airfares. Air Cairo’s participation in this important international event comes in coordination and co-operation with the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority, as part of an integrated promotional strategy for the Egyptian tourist destination. It is worth noting that Air Cairo holds a market share of around 65% in the Kazakhstan tourism market. The airline operates flights from Sharm El Sheikh to major cities in Kazakhstan, including four weekly flights to Almaty, four weekly flights to Astana, and one weekly flight to Aktobe.
