By Mohamed Attia Air Cairo took part in the Top Resa travel show in Paris, one of the leading international events for the tourism and travel industry. The event brings together major tourism professionals, decision-makers, representatives of airlines and tourism companies, travel agents, and investment firms from markets around the world. Air Cairo’s participation went beyond a traditional presence at the exhibition, providing an international platform to present the company’s expansion strategy, build new partnerships, explore co-operation opportunities with global markets, and support travel to Egyptian tourist destinations, as part of its efforts to benefit from the growing demand for travel to Egypt. The Air Cairo pavilion attracted significant interest from representatives of tourism companies, travel agents, and aviation industry partners from several international markets. A number of meetings and discussions were held to explore co-operation opportunities, support inbound tourism, and expand air connectivity between Egypt and international markets. The exhibition also provided an opportunity for a friendly meeting between Chairman and CEO of Air Cairo, Hussein Sherif, and Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Sherif Fathy. The meeting discussed co-operation between the tourism and aviation sectors to support tourism, particularly inbound tourism, to Egypt’s diverse destinations. Air Cairo supports this effort through its development of Hurghada Airport as a hub, allowing passengers to connect through its flights to destinations across different parts of the world.
