Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, said the Day of Arafah represents a time of forgiveness, mercy and blessings.In a post on his account on the X platform, Sheikh Ahmed noted that the occasion is marked by the opening of the gates of heaven for supplications, as millions of pilgrims perform Hajj.“The Day of Arafah… the day of forgiveness, mercy and blessings… the gates of heaven are opened for supplications… O God, we ask You on this day to accept the pilgrimage of the pilgrims to Your House, and to accept our supplication and protect our homelands,” he said.
