New DFNS partnership will support digital asset issuance, listing and trading at ADX
Dubai: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange is building digital asset wallet and tokenisation capabilities as it expands the infrastructure needed to support on-chain assets and future digital investment products.
ADX Group has signed a strategic agreement with digital asset custody technology provider DFNS, giving the exchange access to enterprise-grade wallet infrastructure for digital assets.
The agreement is intended to support the issuance, listing and trading of digital assets, while giving ADX the technology needed to develop integrated wallet and tokenisation capabilities.
DFNS, founded in 2020, provides wallet infrastructure used by banks, fintech companies and other businesses for on-chain transactions.
Its technology supports workflows across more than 30 blockchains and 1,000 tokens.
ADX said the partnership forms part of its wider digital assets strategy, following initiatives including the listing of digitally native bonds and work on tokenised equities.
The technology will give ADX the infrastructure needed to support a broader range of on-chain products and services as the exchange develops its digital asset offering.
The agreement also places ADX among the first financial market infrastructures in the region to develop integrated digital asset wallet and tokenisation capabilities.
