1,200 Cyclists Join 2nd Edition of Dubai Police’s ‘Ride with Police’ Initiative

Dubai: Dubai Police have organised the second edition of their ‘Ride With Police’ initiative, bringing together 1,200 cyclists of varying abilities for a 127 km ride from Meydan in Nad Al Sheba to the Al Qudra Cycling Track and back.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the initiative once again attracted cycling enthusiasts from across the community, offering participants a professionally organised and safe environment in which to enjoy a memorable sporting experience.

Dubai Police highlighted that the initiative reflects their ongoing commitment to enhancing quality of life, encouraging healthier and more active lifestyles, and supporting community initiatives that promote happiness, wellbeing and positive engagement.

Open to both amateur and professional cyclists, men and women alike, the initiative brought participants together for a shared experience that combined

physical activity, teamwork and community spirit along a carefully planned and secure route.

Dubai Police noted that one of the initiative’s distinguishing features is the opportunity for members of the public to ride alongside experienced cyclists from Team Dubai Police. This allows participants to interact with the team, learn from their expertise and share their passion for cycling in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
