UAE Crypto Inflows Surge 32% to $104.8 Billion

Overview:

UAE digital-asset flows jumped to $104.8 billion in the year ending June 2026, driven by institutional adoption and platform expansion. Fourteen listed companies across Abu Dhabi and Dubai stock exchanges are disclosing third-quarter results this week. Investment account registrations across both markets reached 108,400 in the first ten months of 2026, with Dubai Financial Market capturing 62.7 percent of new openings.

Details:

Cryptocurrency inflows in the UAE rose 32 percent year-on-year to $104.8 billion (384.6 billion dirhams), according to analysis by Chainalysis. The expansion reflects accelerating institutional and enterprise platform activity. The UAE's digital-asset economy now equals approximately 73 percent of Turkey's $144.5 billion market. Analysts project the UAE will become the region's largest such economy during 2027.

Investment account registrations totaled 108,400 across Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and Dubai Financial Market during the first ten months of 2026—102,000 in the first nine months plus 6,486 in October. Dubai Financial Market recorded 68,053 new accounts (62.7 percent of the total), while Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange added 40,433 (37.3 percent). Monthly average registrations reached 10,850.

Fourteen listed companies will announce third-quarter 2026 earnings between November 2 and 6. In Dubai Financial Market, Union Real Estate, Al-Reem Corporations, Salama, and National Industries are releasing results, alongside analyst calls for Tecom Group, the exchange itself, and Ajman Bank. A subscription process for one unnamed security is also advancing.

Outlook:

Cryptocurrency sector momentum may accelerate institutional investment into digital-asset infrastructure, particularly if the UAE achieves its projected regional leadership position next year. Market participants are tracking third-quarter earnings momentum and capital-market participant growth as indicators of sustained UAE financial-sector competitiveness.
