Egypt's condemnation was reported simultaneously by El-Fagr and Sada, both quoting the Egyptian Foreign Ministry denouncing the strikes against Bahrain as "a flagrant violation of sovereignty" and employing language described as "the strongest possible terms." El-Fagr further reported that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif issued a separate and forceful condemnation, describing the Iranian attacks on both Kuwait and Bahrain as targeting civilian and economic infrastructure in fraternal Arab states.
El-Balad reported that Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit condemned the strikes against both countries as "blatant Iranian aggressions," warning of dangerous escalation. Saudi Arabia's condemnation, also carried by El-Balad, characterised the attacks as "barbaric aggression and flagrant violation," and explicitly warned that such actions undermine ongoing efforts to restore regional stability — a reference widely interpreted as pointing to the fragility of any Iran-Gulf diplomatic track.
On the Israeli-Lebanese front, El-Fagr reported Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir stating that military operations in southern Lebanon are continuing, directly contradicting any suggestion of an operational ceasefire. El-Fagr separately reported six killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Tyre and Marjayoun districts in southern Lebanon. Meanwhile, El-Fagr also cited US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirming that Lebanese and Israeli officials met directly at the State Department in Washington to discuss southern border security arrangements — a development that sits in tension with Zamir's hawkish public posture.
