JAZAN — Land patrols of the Border Guard in Al-Dayer sector of the Jazan region arrested nine Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations by smuggling 200 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat. The General Directorate of Border Guards stated that initial legal procedures were completed against those arrested, and they were handed over to the relevant authorities. The directorate urged the public to report drug smugglers and traffickers by calling 995 or emailing 995@gdnc.gov.sa. It emphasized that all reports will be treated with complete confidentiality and that the whistleblower bears no responsibility.
