نفَّذت أكاديمية وزارة الداخلية لأمن الحدود، أمس، مبادرة بيئية تطوعية لتنظيف شاطئ العقير بالمنطقة الشرقية، بمشاركة عدد من المتطوعين، بهدف تعزيز الوعي البيئي والمسؤولية المجتمعية وترسيخ ثقافة التطوع والعمل الجماعي.
وشملت المبادرة إزالة المخلفات من الشاطئ والمناطق المجاورة، في إطار جهود حرس الحدود للمحافظة على البيئة البحرية والساحلية، وحماية الموارد الطبيعية، ونشر الوعي بأهمية الحفاظ عليها.
The Ministry of Interior's Border Security Academy implemented a voluntary environmental initiative yesterday to clean the Al-Aqeer beach in the Eastern Province, with the participation of a number of volunteers, aiming to enhance environmental awareness, community responsibility, and to instill a culture of volunteering and teamwork.
The initiative included the removal of waste from the beach and surrounding areas, as part of the Border Guard's efforts to preserve the marine and coastal environment, protect natural resources, and raise awareness of the importance of maintaining them.
